Working from life helps develop your eye: it teaches you to notice color combinations, the character of light, the rhythm of forms, and the qualities of space.
A plein air doesn't require a perfect result. For me, plein air painting is a way to be closer to nature — to observe, feel, and capture what I see on paper.
